Digital Signatures

IronPDF has options to digitally sign new or existing PDF files using .pfx and .p12 X509Certificate2 digital certificates.

Once a PDF is signed, it cannot be modified without the certificate being invalidated. This ensures fidelity.

To generate a signing certificate for free using Adobe Reader, please read Adobe's guide on digital IDs.

In addition to cryptographic signing, a handwritten signature image or company stamp image may also be used to sign using IronPDF.

You can download a sample project that demonstrates PDF digital signing using IronPDF from this IronPDF digitally sign PDF sample project.
